Keyboard shortcuts

Every keyboard shortcut in DeviceQuest, page by page.

Overview

DeviceQuest is built to be driven from the keyboard. This page collects every shortcut in one place, grouped by page. Each page’s own documentation repeats its shortcuts.

How the shortcuts work:

Single-letter shortcuts (such as n or j) work whenever the cursor is outside a text field. Press Esc or click an empty part of the page to leave a field first.
g sequences: press g, release it, then press the second key straight away.
⌘ is the Command key on a Mac; on Windows and Linux use Ctrl instead.
Many pages show their shortcuts on screen: press ?, or look for the Keyboard hint or the shortcuts button in the toolbar.
Tabs, menus and segmented filters across the app follow the usual pattern: ← / → (or ↑ / ↓) move, Home / End jump to the first or last item, and Esc closes menus, side sheets and dialogs.

Key	Action
`⌘K` / `Ctrl+K`	Opens or closes the command palette. Works even while you type.
`↑` / `↓`	In the command palette: highlights the previous or next result.
`Enter`	In the command palette: opens the highlighted page.
`Esc`	Closes the command palette, the account menu, a sidebar flyout or the navigation drawer.
`Enter` / `Space` / `→`	On a collapsed-sidebar section icon: opens its flyout.
`↑` / `↓`, `Home` / `End`	Moves through a sidebar flyout or the account menu.
`Tab` (first press)	Shows Skip to main content, which jumps past the sidebar.

`Enter`	Signs in, continues with SSO, or verifies the code.
`Backspace`	In a six-box code field: moves back to the previous box when the current box is empty.

Multi-Factor Authentication (your profile)

`e`	Opens the Enable MFA wizard (MFA off).
`d`	Opens Disable MFA (MFA on).
`r`	Opens Regenerate backup codes (MFA on).
`g` `o` / `g` `r` / `g` `a`	Opens the authenticator side sheet on Overview / Recovery / Audit.
`Esc`	Closes the open dialog and the side sheet.
`←` / `→`, `Home` / `End`	Switches the side-sheet tabs.

Dashboard

Asset Inventory and asset details

`Esc`	Clears the bulk selection.
`Enter`	Adds a tag in Tags when creating an asset; confirms Set tag.
`←` / `→`, `Home` / `End`	Switches the asset detail tabs.

Scanning

Vulnerabilities and CVE details

`⌘K` / `Ctrl+K`	Opens the vulnerability command palette (Command palette (⌘K)).
`↑` / `↓`, `Home` / `End`, `Enter`, `Esc`	Moves through, selects or closes palette actions.
`←` / `→`	Switches the CVE detail tabs.

Triage

`j` / `k`	Next / previous match.
`g`	Jumps to the next unacknowledged critical.
`v`	Switches between Queue and Table view.
`o`	Opens the CVE detail page.
`a` / `r` / `d`	Acknowledges / resolves / dismisses the current match (Queue view).
`s` / `e` / `m`	Assigns it / requests an exception / creates a remediation (Queue view).
`⌘K` / `Ctrl+K`	Opens Actions (⌘K).
`?`	Shows or hides the shortcut list.
`Enter` / `Esc`	Saves / cancels an inline assignee.

Remediations and remediation details

`o`	Opens the task’s detail page.
`v`	Switches to Table view.
`m`	Opens New remediation.
`⌘Enter` / `Ctrl+Enter`	Posts a comment on the detail page.
`Enter` / `Esc`	Saves / cancels a saved view name.

Exceptions
