Getting started

Set up DeviceQuest, sign in, secure your account and find your way around.

Everything you need for your first day with DeviceQuest, in the order you meet it:

  1. First-run setup: create your organisation and the first administrator on a new installation.
  2. Signing in: sign in with your email and password or with your organisation’s single sign-on, and what each message on the sign-in screen means.
  3. Multi-factor authentication: add an authenticator app, sign in with a one-time code, and manage your backup codes.
  4. Invitations and passwords: accept an invitation from your administrator and reset a forgotten password.
  5. Navigating DeviceQuest: the sidebar, favorites, the command palette, breadcrumbs, the theme switch and your account menu.
  6. Keyboard shortcuts: every shortcut in the app, page by page.
