How to manage CYBERQUEST data

In CYBERQUEST, data is stored in two locations:

  • Online DataStorage (short‑term storage)
  • Data storage (archive / long‑term storage)

Adjust the data retention period under Settings > Application Settings > Retention Period.

Retention Period settings

Parameters:

  • RetentionPeriodAN: Retention time for data in Data Analyzer (deprecated)
  • RetentionPeriodArchive: Retention period in days for the archive database
  • RetentionPeriodEL: Retention period in days for the online database (Online DataStorage)
  • RetentionPeriodSelfAdjust: 1 (enabled) or 0 (disabled).
    • When set to 1, the online retention (RetentionPeriodEL) is automatically adjusted based on available storage.
    • When set to 0, retention remains fixed and CYBERQUEST collects data until disk space is exhausted; new data is no longer collected when the disk is full.
