How to create a new dashboard, dashgroup and view data
A CYBERQUEST dashboard is a graphical view of events. Access it from the Dashboards module after sign‑in or via the Dashboards button in the top‑left of the web interface.
How to create a new dashboard
Authentication
To access the web interface, open a browser and enter the application's IP address or DNS name (for example, https://CyberquestIPAddress). The browser redirects to the CYBERQUEST authentication page:

Navigate to Dashboards
Open the Dashboards page. Apply a filter for the data of interest (for example: EventID:"56789"). Save it as a dashboard: click SAVE OPTIONS > Save as New Dashboard.

Complete the form
Complete the form and click Save:

Name: The name of the new Dashboard.
Friendly Name: Display label shown in the Dashboards interface for easy recognition.
Text: Brief description of the dashboard’s purpose or content.
Choose Field: Select the field by which the data will be aggregated in the visualization.
How many records: Specify the number of top items to display in the dashboard.
Data Filter: Query that determines which data populates the dashboard (automatically pre-filled from the current filter).
Choose Chart Type: Select the type of visualization to display.
How to create a new dashgroup
A dashgroup is the main display area for dashboards. When a user logs in, they will see dashgroups assigned to their profile. By selecting a dashgroup, the user can view all dashboards included within it. Follow these steps to create a new dashgroup:
Add dashgroup
On the Dashboards page, click MANAGE DASHGROUP ITEMS or the plus button: 

Complete the form
Complete the form and click Save:
Dashgroup name: Enter a name for the dashgroup.
Select dashgroup preset: (Optional) Choose a layout or preset to apply.
Select active dashgroup items: Dashboards to include in this dashgroup.

How to view data from a dashboard
The new dashboard appears on the Dashboards page.

Quick actions on a dashboard:
- Maximize/Minimize - Expand the dashboard to full screen or restore it to its original size.
- Edit Dashboard - Modify and update the saved dashboard settings.
- Explain - Sends the dashboard to the AI Chat Assistant for explanation (available only if enabled in Settings > Chat Config).
- Export CSV - Export the displayed items (limited by the “How many records” setting).
- Export Dashboard Object - Save the dashboard configuration in the proprietary format.
- Graph selection - Temporarily change the chart type for the current view (does not alter the saved dashboard).
- Show items - Control how many entries are displayed below the chart.
