Marketplace: Importing and Exporting Extensions

Overview

The CYBERQUEST Marketplace serves as a centralized repository for pre-built extensions, dashboards, and security components that enhance your CYBERQUEST security monitoring capabilities.

How to export extensions from Marketplace cloud

Exporting extensions from the Marketplace cloud allows downloading and saving extension files for later import into a CYBERQUEST instance.

1.Access the Marketplace Cloud

Navigate to the official CYBERQUEST Marketplace at https://marketplace.cyberquest.cloud/ using a web browser.

2.Navigate to Extensions Section

From the left-side menu in the web interface, select the Extensions option to view all available extensions.

3.Select Extension for Download

Locate the specific extension to export. Click the button to open the extension details page with additional information and download options.

4.Download the Extension File

Extensions are packaged in .cqo file format (CYBERQUEST object files). Click the download button to save the .cqo file to a local machine.

5.Open a web browser and access the CYBERQUEST web interface by entering the application's address or DNS name. The default address for the Web Interface is https://CyberquestIPAddress (example).How to import extensions from CYBERQUEST web interface

Navigate to Settings > Management > Dashboards to view all objects in the CYBERQUEST instance.

To import the object definition, click the button and select the .cqo file downloaded from the Marketplace.

How to import extensions from Marketplace cloud

Open a web browser and go to the CYBERQUEST instance by entering its IP address or DNS name. By default, the address looks like https://CyberquestIPAddress.

1.Navigate to Marketplace Settings

In the CYBERQUEST web interface, go to Settings > Application Settings > Marketplace. This section displays all extensions available for installation in your CYBERQUEST instance.

2.Access Extensions Menu

From the left-side menu, select the Extensions option to view available extensions and import options.

3.Initiate Extension Installation

Locate the specific extension to import. Click the to open the extension details page with additional information and install options.

4.To install the dashboard which is in .cqo file format click button and the dashboard will be automatically imported in CYBERQUEST.

5.Once the upload process is complete, a success confirmation message appears. The extension will now be available and visible in the appropriate sections of the CYBERQUEST instance.
